The FoodFree project was created to support low-income groups in difficult life circumstances. Its main goal is to provide hot meals to the elderly, homeless and other socially vulnerable categories of the city's population.
Currently, the fund has organized regular distribution of hot meals at three points in Kharkiv. Every week, 450 people receive nutritious hot meals three times a week. This is not only physical support, but also an opportunity for social interaction. In conditions of loneliness and isolation, especially among the elderly, such meetings help create a sense of community and reduce psychological stress.
This help becomes especially important in winter, when the need for hot food increases due to the cold. For many of our wards, this is the only opportunity to get warm food that supports not only the body, but also the moral state.

Our plans for the development of the project include:✔️ scaling up the distribution of hot meals to other districts of Kharkiv;
✔️ creating a food truck that can quickly travel to places of emergency situations to provide hot meals not only to victims, but also to employees of the State Emergency Service, municipal services, and everyone involved in eliminating the consequences of shelling or other events.
The food truck will become a unique tool in our work. It will allow us not only to respond quickly to crisis situations, but also to support people in difficult moments when they need it most.
